Could someone please recite the full citation for Sosa and Chase 2020?

Yeah, it's a bit surprising; that's for sure.

Sosa, V. & Chase, M.W. (2020) New combinations and a new name in Bletia (Bletiinae; Orchidaceae). Phytotaxa 456: 297.

Hexalectris was founded to be deeply embedded within Bletia. It's certainly not inconceivable that a clade within Bletia could have developed mycotrophic adaptations.

Genus Hexalectris is soon going to be swapped with genus Bletia on iNat; it's just that H. grandiflora and H. parviflora now have new names, whereas the other species all retain their specific epithets, so those two are being swapped separately.
