I work with wild koalas. I love birds and macropods too.

I live just west of Melbourne Australia, near the You Yangs and Brisbane Ranges VIC. I am particularly interested in Australian mammals, and as a curator I will attempt to help with taxonomy of these.

I joined iNat in 2016 and I love the platform. It has become an important resource for me, both with my koala work, my revegetation work, and to help me identify invertebrates. I love to help others identify birds and mammals - I particularly love the difficult ID challenges taken on a phone camera by a beginner naturalist - I think its so important to encourage new users to the platform.

Feel free to tag me in any ID questions about koalas, their scats and signs, vocalisations, or to establish their sex or age.
My first scientific paper is published in Wildlife Research, on the subject of non-invasive recognition of individual koalas from their natural nose markings.
