My primary interest is in documenting the flora and fauna of Southeast Queensland, especially in the Sunshine Coast Hinterlands. I am retired from 50 years of credentialed servitude in acarology and entomology, but maintain an active interest in plant-animal interactions (especially pollination), soil biology, and invasive species. I am slowly learning the complex and diverse flora of my region and am especially interested in anything small and obscure that others might walk past without seeing.
