Description
Could be Q falcata but I do not think it is. There seems to be domatia developing in the vein axils which Q falcata does not have. There is a large mature Q x willdenowiana about a 1/4 mile away from this tree. The more I look at a lot of these trees the more I think that there might be a hybrid swarm at this location.

Description
This site is loaded with Q falcata has some Q velutina and scattered Q palustris and Q coccinea. This one looks a lot like Q pagoda but would be a real outlier if it is.
