Illeis cincta was Coccinellid species commonly encounter in vegetable fields of the Mid Country in Sri Lanka. {Mayadunnage, S., Wijegunasekara, H. N. P., Hemachandra, K. S. and Nugaliyadda, L. (2007). Predatory coccinellids (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) of vegetable insect pests. Tropical Agricultural Research. 19:69-77}
This is actually a mycophagous especially on powdery mildew, but it seems in the literature, I. cincta was erroneously recorded as predador of aphids, mites and coccids.
In the second picture, you can observe one of its larva, aparently a final instar, which is in Campodeiform in shape.

I believe it is a cicada, although it was rather quick and reacted suddenly to my intrusion. Was climbing a tree at around 2 meters above the ground when I took this photo. Voices of cicadas were heard before from that tree, so I believe this might have been emerging later than the rest..
