Munching on a freshwater midge adult (blind mosquito). Appears to have mites on thorax.
Description: Approximately a foot long, light green, distinct patterns, flap on top of head, curled tail.

Two owls were hooting it up. Tried to take a movie of their interaction, but they were moving too much. The photo is a screen grab after one flew over to the other and appeared to be mating. Not sure about their behaviors and whether they mate during the day.

Now if I could only find the clip where the 2 are calling back and forth.
I found her next to the equipment shed (dangerous for a little bat on the ground) and gently relocated to an oak tree close by.
