Description
A very striking spider, much bigger than typical Xysticus sp - this one was well over 10 mm (approx. 12 mm). Maybe Bassaniodes robustus?

Male. Collected by beating net from tall forb on forest clearing. Note the fast bleaching of the yellow color on the legs after storage in alcohol (75% Ethanol). Cleaning the pedipalp was quite difficult...

Description
Scale line in habitus image 0.5 mm. Although common, one of my favorite spiders. Part of my intern Thomisids-of-Europe-project.
The epigyne in-situ is quite hard to photograph. The image is either too dark or too bright.
Collected by sweep-netting tall forbs on humid clearing.
Please note the fine, nearly transparent hairs covering the copulatory openings.
