Description

Water Moccasin observed while picking up insect light traps. Rock Creek watershed, which flows into Lake Mineral Wells and into the Brazos River. I know this small juvenile is not the best picture, but these snakes were abundant in pooled up sections of smaller streams leading to Rock Creek throughout this area. Various sizes seen throughout the collecting season.
