I think it’s not the flowering phase so I can only see the leaves. Each leaf has 2 or 3 furcations.
This is the sycamore with a scientific name London planetree.
The leaf is smooth on one side and fuzzy on the other side. Its tree grow up very tall which is about 75 ft.
Trunk appears red and very smooth. Bark and branch peel off.
Growing out of the vertical slope along the trail. Spotted many of these plants but none seemed larger than this, which I suspect is a juvenile of the species.

California Cudweed found at Eaton Canyon. Still in the middle of blooming and currently look like small white budding seeds.
Its very interesting how it looks similar to a squash. Its style is very intriguing and almost made me want to take it home and eat it. However this plant is not edible and its very poisonous. It may be really small and attractive but if eaten it will poison one or even kill you.
