Greetings. I am a final-year student studying Ecology and Biodiversity in the Faculty of Science at the University of Hong Kong. I am conducting a study to understand the educational and scientific value of citizen science programmes in Hong Kong.
Citizen science refers to a program or project that involves the general public in data collection. The goals of these programs include collecting data for scientific research, conservation and public education. The use of iNaturalist has greatly enhanced the data collection process. I would like to evaluate the effectiveness of current citizen science programmes in Hong Kong and the role that iNaturalist may play in these programmes. I am collecting information from registered iNaturalist users for this study. I would like to invite you to participate in this study by filling out the questionnaire via the link below.
