How do you post Merlin app recordings onto iNat?
I recently got the merlin app and I absolutely love it. The only problem is then putting the recordings from the app onto iNat. Before I got the app I put used the iNaturalist to record them but now with Merlin I can't find a way to do that. What I have been doing lately is putting two phones end to end and playing the merlin recording on one and recording the other on iNat. This works ok but I need someone with a phone they aren't using and I have to put in the location and date when it is already recorded in merlin. In addition, the recording becomes a lot louder which isn't good because then a car in the background or wind or some other noise becomes super annoying to listen to.
Does anyone have a way that I could do this simpler?

Do you have an Apple device? If so, on a Merlin sound recording there should be a box with an upwards arrow beside the play button. If you press that, an option that says “save to files” should come up. After saving the file to your device, you can upload it directly to iNat, but you can only upload from browser- mobile doesn’t support file uploads yet.
I don’t have experience with other devices, but I assume the steps for file saving should be similar!
I do have an apple phone and I found the box.
This will save me a lot of trouble
