I am a naturalist/biologist with a special interest in birds and butterflies. I reside in Connecticut, north-eastern USA, and work at Yale University Peabody Museum of Natural History. I am originally from Poland.

I use eBird to report my bird sightings. In iNaturalist I report only observations of birds found dead, and bird associations with either plants (e.g., pollination, frugivory) or other animals (e.g., foraging, predation).

My wife (Yulia Bereshpolova) is a co-observer and co-photographer on many of the observations.
