I'm a high school physical science teacher with a growing interest in the ecology of California and Hawai'i. iNat has allowed me to appreciate botanical sites I have been visiting my whole life with a new perspective and greater depth of understanding. I mostly try to document the native plants I encounter while opportunistically capturing shots of any native fauna that happen across my path. I'm grateful to the community of experts on iNat that bother to confirm or correct my observations.
