I am a retired professor from UNC-Asheville and spend much of my free time studying the natural history of the Southeast, with a focus on North Carolina. My post here are restricted to leafmining insects, particularly those that occur in North Carolina. Other projects that I am involved with include the 'Moths of North Carolina' (https://auth1.dpr.ncparks.gov/moths/index.php) and 'Amphibians of North Carolina' (https://auth1.dpr.ncparks.gov/amphibians/index.php) that are part of the North Carolina Biodiversity Project (https://nc-biodiversity.com).

petranka is not following anyone.
