Not a botanist!
I live an hour's drive from Melbourne, but fell in love with West Australian plants on my very first trip a few decades ago, and I now grow some.

I enjoy not only trips with like-minded enthusiasts, but also trawling through the undergrowth in my photos when I get home, trying to spot and identify as many plants as I can (courtesy of many websites such as Florabase, NatureMap, Esperance Wildflowers, NorthQld plants, SA Seedbank, and many Google pictures - and now the many helpful and knowledgeable people in iNaturalist.

My aim is to help build the iNaturalist knowledge base (and thus find a use for the many photos sitting in my PC!).
