I'm a naturalist and forager studying molecular biology, systems engineering, and sustainable development at Lehigh University ('24) in Bethlehem, PA. I'm fascinated by complex biological systems and how an understanding of them can be harnessed to advance human welfare. I hope to pursue a career in microbial ecology and genetics in order to help shed light on how microbial activity influences ecological processes that can be applied for use in ecological restoration, climate mitigation, and regenerative agriculture.

I grew up in the Lancaster, PA area and travel all around the East Coast to study nature. My particular taxonomic interests include amphibians, fungi, trees, and arthropods, with an emphasis on the edible. I do my best to document both rare and invasive species when I find them.
