Good morning everybody! First day of the Fall 2023 AppState BioBlitz! Marta got us started again with the first couple of observations!

Several of you have asked me about locations and directions, so here's a list of places where you can go this week to make observations.

In town (PDF with map):

• Main Campus
• Nature Preserve
• University Highlands
• Mountain Laurel Hall
• University Hall
• NC 105 Lot
• State Farm Lot
• Greenway and Kennedy Trails (PDF with map)

Out-of-town locations:

• Payne Branch Park (PDF with map and directions)
• Camp Broadstone (PDF with map and directions - please stay on the lower field for the BioBlitz)
• Gilley Field Station (PDF with map and directions)
• ASU Farm (PDF with map and directions - email the farm director to schedule your visit)
• Dark Sky Observatory (PDF with map and directions - please don't block the gate)
