Almost to 3,000 species of Carabidae on iNat!

Hey everyone!

It looks like we are almost to 3,000 species of observed Carabidae on iNaturalist!
Hopefully, in the next year, we'll be able to make it to 4,000 or higher!

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to iNat, and for making this all possible!

Heh, yeah, it'd be cool if we had the majority, or even half of the known species!

Yeah, @bioedteach and I, as well as some friends, are going to try to locate more carabidae when at my grandparents' house, we already have recorded over 30 species of carabids there. (Not all are identified, though) including two Dicheirotrichus cognatus. And, if the borders open by then, and if we can figure out if it is legal without a permit, we're going to see what we can find in Canada this summer. Thanks you for all help!

Well, that was easy, 3,000 happened overnight, day, I'm not sure what time it is for y'all. For me, it's around 7:00 am

It's been about a month, and we've gained around 30+ species, I wonder what the number will be by the end of the year?
