There are now quite a few observations of this rather odd Pelargonium and so this project is gather all of the known observations in a central place where they can hopefully be reviewed and possibly identified in time to come.
The "odd" Pelargonium does not seem to fit into any species; it instead looks as though it may be a hybrid of sorts. The most likely hybrid would between P. tabulare and P. cucullatum subsp. tabulare on the Cape Peninsula, or one of the other two P. cucullatum subspecies outside of the peninsula (see P. cucullatum subsp. strigifolium).
Please add any observations to this project that appear to be similar to these; use the current observations in this project as a guideline. The vast majority of observations so far are from the Cape Peninsula, but they are not at all confined to it. If you are too unsure, please tag me (@jeremygilmore) and I may add the observation to the project if it fits the criteria.
