Fecha de observación de adultos: 29/10/2022. Miles de abejas, construyendo nidos y reproduciéndose. Se observa a machos acercarse mientras hembras excavan. Se detecta un macho copulando a una hembra, mientras esta continúa excavando. Entre 50 a más de 100 nidos por metro cuadrado.

Recollection is a black bee with yellow thorax, not sure about face. I remember briefly thinking about a male Xylocopa tabaniformis but the huge pollen baskets made me think female. Plant is Ericameria probably nauseosa.
