In seasonally dry coastal forest on living Bourreria succulenta. Perennial, new hymenia growing sporadically on old tissue giving it a canker-like aspect. Pores 6-8/mm, black line in context below tomentum. Spores pigmented with a slight thickened wall, dissepiment hyphae cylindrical with thickening walls and occasional constrictions along length, lightly encrusted. Setae absent in all tissues. Tube trama with scattered, large, rhomboid crystals much like the illustration of Phylloporia crystallina in Zhou et. al. (2022).

On woody debris near stand of large Coccoloba pubescens trees in karstic forest. Ferruginous, farinaceous subiculum composed of loosely woven, pigmented hyphae with simple septa and bearing globose chlamydospores. No sexual structures observed.

Terrestrial in rural garden, presumably from buried wood or organic material. Taste and smell mild when fresh, smell polyporoid when dry. Pores 2/mm, white, drying yellowish cream. KOH on fresh pileus surface cherry red, sordid pinkish or no reaction elsewhere. Spore print white. Hyphal system dimitic. Pileipellis a cutis with long cylindrical tufts of pigmented generative hyphae with basal clamp.

On decaying herbaceous material, spores pigmented, without germ pore or inconspicuous. Cheilocystidia crowded, clavate, fluorescing in 365nm UV light.
