Description

this post is for the caterpillar. Only saw one this year compared to many last year. The same mistletoe plant from last year was almost dead this year, but there were around 20 mistletoes on the host tree providing plenty of other food. Is it usual for the butterflies to use the same trees/mistletoes year after year?
