Seen on Dragonfly trail Spur Cross recreational park. I missed getting the head shot as I was so surprised to see it in the morning on the trail. I am almost positive it was a ring necked snake. It had a very clear ring but it also had a mustard yellow spot on the top of its head. Also it was very dark/black and was approximately 3/8" diameter. The temperature was about 70 degrees with occasional cloud cover.
