Single mature fruiting in mostly Alnus rubra dominant canopy(cedar/Doug fir/Hemlock intermixed).
Harvested specimen.
Spore printed cap directly on a glass slide and mounted print in KOH for microscopy.
Spore print: White.
Spores: smooth, almond shaped/ellipsoid with large germ pore(see images of my work included in observation). Spores pale yellowish in KOH.
Thoroughly dried specimen and bagged for herbarium collection/genetic record.

Extremely viscid cap.
Montane old growth habitat at just shy of 4,000 feet.
Voucher may go in for sequencing.
