Esta rana fue encontrada en un Páramo de Putumayo que limita con el Departamento del Nariño, estaba en el tallo de un Frailejón caído, con agua a una temperatura un poco más "cálida" que la de afuera.
I've found this frog hidden in a stem Frailejon (any of several xerophytic plants of the genus Espeletia of the higher Andes), It was so close to a lagoon.
I only saw one individual.
