Thanks to James Stacy for suggesting an ID! I was initially perplexed by this spider as it resembled Hexathele, but appeared to only have four spinnerets. I subsequently acquired a close-up photograph of this species and realised that it does indeed have six spinnerets, one pair is just tiny! 🕷️

Beautiful large female we found. Found the remains of an unfortunate male in her silk lined tunnel too! Very heavy spider
