It was amazing and sad at the same time to see a Steppe Eagle being attacked by two dogs for a piece of meat. With its huge wing span wide open, and powerful talons, Eagle was trying to fend for it's food. Unfortunately the pack tactics worked and dogs were able to steal the piece of meat. Invasion of feral animals is one of the eminent threats that needs to be addressed with priority.

Genal and pronotal combs present, eye present, genal comb has more than 5 pointed spines and is horizontal
Spine 1 and spine 11 of genal comb approximately equal in length, Head length twice height
Found in home with 3 cats and 1 dog. Home has been sprayed inside and it seems the few fleas leftover were trying to find a place to go and one landed on my sister's arm. She grabbed it and we stuck it in soapy water (around 5PM, photographed at 7:15PM with microscope)

Two owls began hooting in my neighborhood while I was painting. The owl hooting with three notes after the first three (I haven’t done music since middle school so bear with me) has a deeper lower pitch hoot that is immediately replied to by the other owl but with two notes after the first three and at a higher pitch. They’ve been at it for 30 minutes now.
