A shrimper pulled up the first Goblin shark observed in the Gulf of Mexico since 2010. The length was estimated to be about 15 feet. Location approximate from news reports.

Waiting at the entry point!

Seen during a night dive. Individual was ~7 feet long and was seen interacting with a bottlenose dolphin. Was about 300 yards offshore in 35 feet of water. Apologies for the blurry picture.

I was on a manta ray night dive and this curious monk seal floated up in the middle of our group and looked at us for a while before bumping into a snorkeler, scaring both of them.

Cannot be certain on exact location
