I think it has too many white bands for T. guatemalensis. The only other one I've received an ID for was a crassus, but I'm not sure this one is hairy enough.

I'm very excited about this newcomer in 2021. On Mountain mint in my pollinator garden which is surrounded by woods with streams. Seems like there are more grasshoppers here this year, FWIW. Clay soil.

The blooming Shining sumac at the edge of my woods was a wildly popular hotspot for many species. The downside is they tend to spend a lot of time submerged in the blooms.
Four stripes rules out guatemalensis... I think.
