iNat suggests genus Angaria but CA is far outside of the range of other observations. Doesn’t seem to quite match other observations around here.
Edit:
No good matches in my North American shell guide, nor good matches with other local finds. Taking another look at Angaria observations in the W. Pacific and it seems too good a match with Angaria delphinus.
So, is this a traveler swept up by ocean waves? Or stowed away on a ship?
