Depth ~200 m. Lay in the silt not deeper than 20 cm.

Gray day with mild, consistent rain. In beech, oak dominated, deciduous forest.
The bigger one was 13cm or less stretched out. Mating happend on Quercus petraea at around 1,5m height. Mating slugs don't seem to be bothered by bright light in my experience.
The whole act took less than 30min and me one or two days worth hiking through the rain. Well worth it.
