Growing on a well rotted and de-barked Notholithocarpus densiflorus
Tiny, pea sized orange pleurotoid fungus. Laterally attached stipe with distantly spaced, subdecurrent lamellae. Pileus striate, so thin you can almost see through it. Reduced stipe covered in tiny white hairs.
No noticeable smell, taste mild

Growing on bark layer of in-tact but fallen Pinus sabiniana. Seems to be radially growing from little holes in the bark/cambium layers (insect?)
Zonate, resupinate, with fleshy folds throughout. Growing in concentric zones of color starting from deep red to orange, and white near the slightly tomentose margin. One fruit body slightly reflexed
Smell indistinct
Orange brown KOH in white light, fruit body orange under UV, KOH streak turning blue

Growing just downhill of a burnt Sequoia sempervirens log in a stand of young Sequoia sempervirens. Looks as if there was a relatively mild burn in the area within the past decade. Maybe a low-intensity patch from the 2017 Tubbs fire
Royal blue, velutinous pileus. Lamellae white with a blue hue, narrowly attached. Stipe elongate, equal, royal blue covered in fine chevrons

Fruit bodies growing from white mycelial “cocoon” in soil under Adenostoma fasciculatum
Strange, cordyceps-like fungus with two sporocarps emerging from a white, mycelial "cocoon" buried underneath the surface of the soil. Sporocarps like little bulbous clips, covered din a white, cracking tissue. No in-tact insect body detected, but some spherical chitinous remains of what seems to be of insect origin were found

Description

Note how the eyebrows are differently colored between picture 1 and two - After I played (with Merlin Bird ID) the calls of female sooty grouse, this fellow did a nice strutting dance (photo 4) and his eyebrow tissues became engorged and turned from yellow orange to much more reddish. Be warned, they become extremely excited if you play female calls. When I did so, this bird almost flew into my car window it was so excited.

Description

Slight Farinaceous odor detected. Sub decurrent to decurrent gills, strongly hygrophanous. In scattered duff under conifers.
Spores from nearby mushroom on my desk scattered onto slide, so i'll have to redo the spore micro. The spores are very likely broadly elliptic, and white, as I only saw spores fitting that description.

There were cystidia and odd inflated elongated hyphae protruding out of the gill face,
