An amazing glass squid. When I disturbed it it would tuck in its tentacles and eyes, and even its fins and show big spots. So cool. The area around the brain was brightly iridescent. There are very faint long tubercles around the mantle if that helps with species id.
Really hard to get nice shots with a compact camera sadly.

Ular ini di temukan di daerah Distrik Muting Kabupaten Merauke Papua.
perwarnaan bagian kepala berwarna coklat, selanjutnya dari leher punggung putih cerah dan perut. pada sebagian punggung terdapat bercak warna coklat , bercak tersebut akan jelas pada bagian punggung sampai di ekor.

Dalmatian Pelican seen fishing in the series 2-5. A fish got stuck in the beak and it was able to gulp the fish after a lot of efforts. The first pic is of a different Pelican. A vulnerable species as per IUCN, the Dalmatian Pelican is a massive member of the pelican family. It breeds from southeastern Europe to India and China in swamps and shallow lakes. The nest is a crude heap of vegetation.

Together with a smaller water snake (Helicops?). I'm not sure of what is happening here but at least it seems as they're getting along.

Junta de uma cobra d'água menor (Helicops?). Não tenho certeza do que está acontecendo aqui, mas pelo menos parece que elas estão se dando bem.

This individual was found road-killed. Following the criteria proposed by Borteiro et al. (2021), we classify this specimen of L. muta as presenting the ‘amelanistic’ condition.
