Peculiar behaviour. Got a few quick photos before they (presumably) woke up and flew off.

Note uniformly white plumage; black rings around large eyes; slightly forked tail.

Pale, grayish tones. Good for the expected pinicola ssp

Note the bright orange fur with frosting on the tips of its back hair. This solitary individual was roosting mid-day on the bottom of a leaf.

Note distinctive bright green above with blue head and black throat.

Note olive-colored back; reddish-brown abdomen; pale legs.

I am not entirely sure on this one. However, note the dark black/brown color with frosted tips; dark face. This one appeared out of nowhere and grabbed an insect over the water.

Note small head; rusty face with white forehead; cinnamon rump; square tail. This was one of a large flock that were busy feeding near a bridge.

Note bright yellow below with dark streaking on flanks; dark semicircle under eye; black eyeline; black mark on side of neck.

Note dark spots on the belly, orange bill, and yellowish legs. This one displayed characteristic bobbing behavior.
