Approximately two or three singing males, in Abies cephalonica forest. The location was about 1200 m ASL, the cicadas were always present in warm clearings, the temperature this day was approximately 20-25 °C.

The second recording has 50% reduced frequency for easy listening. The third recording has the best quality because disturbing sounds were filtered out.

It seems that the "call-and-response" phenomenon is common among this mountain cicada genus. The second picture shows specimen 1 emitting sounds and specimen 2 repeating or reacting to specimen 1 with mostly similar sound emissions.

Drama. These guys all normally get along pretty well, but here a squirrel decided to start something and nearly got kicked in the head as reward. Moments later they were back to munching sunflower seeds side-by-side again.
