Observation for 4 individuals found under the rock on the right. 3 others were found under the left rock. Both in a ball, possibly mating behavior
Played dead in my hand almost immediately when I caught it. Eyes closed, arms pulled in, only took off once set down next to a rock
Looks minimally flattened- based on puncture wounds I assume predation by a heron as cause of death, with the bird then being frightened off by something else (Car?)
Flipped under rock shown, very lethargic
Thought this was too dark to be a rena dulcis
