Low tide in late AM - Wide low gradient high tide beach. Found on backshore washed up by receding tide. Normally all sand but significant Seaweed mounds this visit.
Another example of this common taxon around salt pans and on sand mounds towards middle of some smaller salt pans.
Nodding Beard-heath.
Not an unusual find, but some particularly 'robust' specimens today - some partially buried.
I'm still not sure whether they are heterodontans or macridae.
