Great Tulip (Moraea flaccida)

Observer

Date

Description

Moraea flaccida

Moraea flaccida and bee. The bee is one our local bees and not the honey bee. It was smaller and with black and white stripes rather than the brown and yellow of the honey bee (Apis mellifera), which is also a known polinator of several of the moraea species. Perhaps Nomia amabilis?
