Espécie raramente coletada, vive em associação com bromelias. Espécie de tamanho muito superior a Espécies do mesmo gênero que habita o solo e a serapilheira. A coleta foi realizada em bromelias associadas a uma árvore de Erythrina que caiu após periodo de chuva.
