Description

This plant is not hemp dogbane but it looks similar to it so I’m thinking that it could possibly be in the same family of species. Their stems of hemp dogbane and the plant I took a picture of are similar colors, like a red burgundy color. Also, the leaves in the plant I am recording has spikes around the perimeter of them. It had a flower but I was not able to get a good picture of it but the flower was red/pink. The temperature was in the mid 60s, degrees Fahrenheit.
