This is one of many such beetles that crawl around my apartment. It is probably a bit more than a centimeter long. They come out around sunset. They are capable of flight. I am in an apartment complex in Shanghai, China.

When I use the Seek app on these, it tends to identify them as "strawberry seed beetles", but mostly it says "insect".
