~3-4m tree, 350-400mm diameter near base. Bark with deep, vertical furrows. Leaves opposite, with alternate venation, slightly serrated edges. Berries small, green smooth, with white spots (unripe). Flowers- orange corolla fused, green calyx also fused, pistil and stamens emerging from end of corolla.
