Description

This small amphibian was found near a mid-size pond. With every step these small frogs jumped displaying a sign of hundreds of them. This one was resting on a moistened rock. This amphibian was a caramel grey with small hints of green emerging from both sides of this stomach area.

Description

This frog was caught near Turtle Pond. He was camouflaged very well in the tall grass. There is a thin brown stripe running along the side of his face, through his eye. His body has a golden hue with small bumps. About an inch or so in length

At least 10 small salamanders no more than a few inches long. Mud-colored dorsal view, and an orange color underneath. Yellow eyes with horizontal pupils.

Description

Surprisingly calm when handled. It did defecate when being held, and also exhibited some odd spitting behaviour. It was at the pond's edge in the long grass.

Description

Clustered white flowers about 1 centimeter wide each. Ridges on the edges of the green leaves. The leaves are in clusters and about 3 inches long each. Another bush was 5 feet away. The bush was about 8 feet tall. Some of the clusters had small green buds/berries.

The leaves are about 2 inches long, and maybe in clusters of 3 or 4. There are more leaves closer to the tips of the branches. Another California Bay 8 feet away.

Description

This plant was found near Double Pond about 10 meters away from the actual pond. Its leaves seemed to be long and almost an oval shape with a pointed tip. All the leaves seem to have a green color that was not fully dark. Then its stem seemed to be a brown color and it was about four feet tall. It seemed to be isolated from other green vegetation.
