I believe this lightning bug is photinus brimleyi because there was a single flash of yellow light, a 7 second pause, and then another single flash of yellow light. I have observed similar looking insects in the area during the day. The first 2 photos are screenshots from the first and second blinks in the video.
Photinus scintallans
blue ghostie!!
Firefly was a dim constant glow, very light green for ~30 seconds straight, flying slowly around less than a foot above the ground.
spotted with @nepenthes17 in their known Cincinnati area location
A male
I've been watching this for a few weeks and it looks like it has pupated.
ID tentative.
Found by a friend (my photos here), who sent pix to a firefly aficionado and got this ID.
iNat disagrees with this ID for these adults, preferring Ellychnia corrusca . However, iNat IDs exuviae (208644961) found on the same tree as Pyractomena borealis.
Me? Idk.
