I was looking for a grey wagtail that had a typical yellow belly. I’d seen it earlier when I didn’t have the camera to hand. I thought this was it. It teased me, flying along the beach, keeping far enough away that I couldn’t get a decent snap. I didn’t have binoculars with me, but it seems I was stalking a pied wagtail when I zoomed in on the photos.
