Additional comments? - This little beauty was calling at the top of his voice from the tree tops. Spring time! And amazingly, this bird is exactly what my son was wishing for when he woke up this morning!

Some type of bee I reckon, but obviously much larger than a normal sized honey bee in this area of QLD.
Seen Enroute Tso-Moriri Lake to Tsokar Lake. A Herd of 5 to 6 were spotted grazing
Habitat - Near a natural water source
How many? - 6
Nest present - No
Behavior - Feeding

Field Notes - At first I thought it was a bee but it looks like it could be a type of hoverfly. It was about the size of a honey bee and was staying along the ground.
