This species is known from the region, though I believe these are the first Alberta records for the species on iNat. It was fairly common at the sites I checked that looked to offer suitable habitat.

In weedy area. Probably recently emerged. He was somewhat reluctant to fly, which is why was able to get so close. Later, I saw another male whose wings were still soft but fully expanded.
