Stem firm and crispy. Cap hairy and conical. No distinct odor. Growing from soil under a decaying log on the Trailside in a mixed deciduous forest. Recent rain.
Growing standing dead hemlock trunk (possibly white pine); distinct individual shelves; caps with thick matted hairs, finely feathered margin; open maze pores, showing tooth-like in places, @7 mm deep.
Spores boring, smooth, ovate, inamyloid, 5.2 x 3.8 um, Q=1.4.
Has a light sweet odor, like a soft smell of chocolate or similar. Found by John Falgione

On decayed fallen hardwood branch. Growing near Calycina.
Reddish brown staining at the base of the stipe. Gelatantion slimy layer on top. Spore sizes and microscopy a match for O. incognita
