Looking closely at the image, this plant is woody with erect woody branches, has a fruit that is a pome (specifically the fruit is berry-like). The leaves are simple not pinnately divided into leaflets and the leaf edges are smooth. These characteristics all together are unique to the Cotoneaster lucidus within the Rocaceae family.
