Malaise trap; Short tussocks, exotic grass, Hebe, Aciphylla, pine, Pilosella officinarum, matagouri
A small round worm about 6 mm long with 3 pairs of éyes'. Contracts at rest. Moves with S shaped curves suggesting it is a nematode. Found in detritus in a sample from Stoney Creek.
Could be an Australian Guava moth, as there are guava plants growing near our property.
Attracted to light, 40w Actinic (Heath Trap).
